At the Ashokan Center, Olive Bridge, New York
Join five renown instructors who will lead artists in a broad range of topics and techniques for this weekend retreat in the Catskill Mountains. Deepen skills, share curiosity, and experience the joy of learning together with a group of like-minded artists. Carol joins teachers John Muir Laws, Wendy Hollender, Verne Fannin, and Pam Thompson for demonstrations, presentations, field sketching and drawing and painting sessions. Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned artist, we’ll explore and practice new skills in observational drawing, watercolor techniques, nature journaling, and painting in watercolor on vellum. If you’ve always wanted to try vellum but find it daunting, Carol will be there to guide you. Artists can choose whatever sessions they’d like to take part in, hike the trails, gather treasures, and enjoy meals with instructors and fellow nature and art enthusiasts.
Registrants can stay on site at the Ashokan Center or off site where they choose. We are all so excited about what promises to be a memorable August weekend and hope you can join us. Full information and registration is found at the link below!
